For every type of application, Penfast has the appropriate fastener solution. So as the application of tastening the light gauge steel roof structure, so called "Light Metal Roof Truss" that has been widely used.

For this particular application, Penfast® has specially developed - two diffrent gauge of drill screws, special designed drill point, and threads that full up to the bottom of the flange - Indent Hexagon Washer Head Self Drilling Screw - no seal, in electro white zinc plated and clear chromate finishes for joining light gauge steel sheeting.

A standard screw gun with a depth sensitive nosepiece should be used. For optimal fastener perfomance, the screw gun should be a minimum of 4 amps and have a RPM range of 0 -2000, Adjust the screw gun nosepiece to properly seat the fastener. New magnetic sockets must be correctly set before use. Remove chip built-up as needed. The fastener is fully seated when the head is flush with the work surface. Over driving may result in torsion failure of the fastener or strip out of the substrate. The fastener must penetrate beyond the metal structure a minimum of three pitches of thread
